Takumi has implemented a documented control system, within an environment of continuous improvement to achieve ISO 9001:2000 certification. 
In 2006 Takumi successfully implemented ISO 14001 Environment Management System to manage and control our waste disposal.
 

A major part of our success to date has been our awareness of the changing environment in which we operate. This includes constant awareness of technological advances and major changes in the external business environment and keeping in touch with the changing needs of our customers.

Quality Statement

Takumi is the Japanese word for craftsman or artisan. This word is central to the company’s quality policy. Even in this hi-tech environment of CNC machines the ancient craftsman’s principles of pride in one’s work and striving for excellence are the core values of Takumi.

Each employee understands the importance of taking total responsibility for the quality of their work. There is a keen awareness of how dependent Takumi is on its customers and everyone is conscious of the needs and requirements of each individual customer.

All employees are encouraged to draw on each other’s strengths and develop each other’s skills to create a team that will ultimately be of greater service to the customer.
